2018 - Golf Provincials
As a school, we specialize in individualized education as we expertly guide and champion a diverse range of learners from Grade 1 through 12. Amongst other things, activity and athletics is certainly an important driver for students at Calgary Academy. As such, our Calgary Academy Knights are involved in a wide range of sports and athletic inititiaves throughout the year. From school sports such as golf, volleyball, cross country running, basketball, curling, soccer, badminton, ultimate and others to programs such as outdoor school and CA Ski and Snowboard Club (CASSC), to big events like our Dig Pink Volleyball Tournament, there are plenty of opportunities for our student athletes to be grow through the vehicle of sport.
Expanding on this, we work diligently to create other opportunities for our elementary and junior high students to explore and expand their own physical literacy while developing skills and confidence through quality and daily physicaly education, early morning Spark activities, and after school programs on Wednesday afternoons where activities such as dance, fencing, ice hockey, golf, self-defense and a cornucopia of other experiences are organized, created and enjoyed.
In all cases, life at Calgary Academy is designed around the success, joy, and genuine growth of individuals and we are excited to promote and promise the same expectation for all participants in this year’s tournament
