We would like to welcome all the 2A Boys basketball teams to Bearspaw Christian School. We are excited to have the opportunity to host these provincial championships. A great opportunity to give back to the ASAA is a privelege and an honour. We hope your time at BCS brings the best in everyone involved. Spectators in the stands, live streaming for those that cannot be here in person, and teams ramping up to show their best skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Update* - There will be 6 practice time slots for practice on Wednesday, March 16. Each practice period will be 40 minutes with 20 minutes to clear out for the next team. First come, first served for booking gym time on March 16. Times available will be on the hour, starting at 4pm. 40 minute sessions. The last time slot will be 9pm. Dear Parents, Coaches, Supporters, and Student-Athletes,
On behalf of the Calgary Independent Schools’ Athletic Association (CISAA), I want to welcome you to the 2A Boys Provincial Basketball Championships. The tournament committee at Bearspaw Christian School has been busy putting together an amazing experience for you so that we can celebrate the tremendous participants at this tournament and show them what our zone has to offer.
As you begin your journey towards a provincial basketball title, please keep in mind the sacrifices that were made to bring us all together. Every stakeholder in your local athletic program deserves a standing ovation for what they have done over the last two years to make this possible. From the local custodians to the school staff, administration, volunteers, and family members, everyone has worked together in order to ensure our student-athletes have a safe and competitive basketball season. Thank you all for what you have done!
As this weekend continues on, take some time to look around you. This is the first time that most of us have been able to come together for an event like this in almost two years, so take it all in! Exchange stories, take pictures, connect with one another, and do not forget this weekend. It will truly be one to remember!
Good luck to every team involved. The coaches and student-athletes that have made it to this point in the season have truly shown they have what it takes to cement their place in the ASAA history books. Go out there and continue to make those around you proud!
