Spectator Info

Please see the sidebar menu for Admission, Concession, Hotel Information, Parking, Spectator Code of Conduct, and information about our wonderful City of Lacombe!

ADMISSION:
Team (player and team staff) accreditation will be provided to teams in their package. Only team members with accreditation will be admitted without charge.

We will be accepting cash and credit/debit at the CACHS location; at LCHS, we are only able to accept cash.
Admission Rates:
Single Day Admission: $5.00 per person
Age 5 and under: Free, if accompanied by an adult.
3-Day Weekend Pass: $10.00 per person

SPECTATOR SEATING:
Due to the large court size, seating at both locations is a challenge. There is limited spectator room in both gymnasiums. Please ask your team members and your spectators to ‘squeeze in’ to give more people a chance to sit. Please keep your feet outside the court area. If you have issues with mobility, we advise you to arrive early to access floor seating areas.

Please do not run across courts during games or stoppage of play. During stoppage of play, you will be able to reach seating areas by walking behind the nets.

CODE OF CONDUCT:
All athletes, coaches, and spectators are expected to abide by the ASAA Code of Ethics. Information regarding the ASAA’s Code of Ethics can be found in the ASAA Handbook.

Spectators are required to follow a positive code of conduct. All athletes, coaches, and officials are to be respected and encouraged. Artificial noisemakers are not permitted.

CONCESSION:
A concession will be available at Central AB Christian High School, with a variety of items including drinks, snacks and meals. The city of Lacombe offers a wide variety of restaurant options as well, for dine-in, take-out, and fast food.

HOTELS:
A limited number of rooms have been blocked off at the Best Western in Lacombe for players. They will hold rooms until Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Blackfalds is approximately 15 minutes from Lacombe and has a Microtel Inn & Suites, though they would not specifically reserve rooms for our tournament.

Ponoka and Red Deer hotels are also an option, and are approximately 30 minutes from Lacombe, and we recommend booking one with easy access to Highway 2 (QEII).
