In Memory of John Bauer
With great sadness, we announce the death of John Bauer.
John was inducted into the ASAA High School Hall of Fame in 2018 for his tremendous work in high school sport as a volleyball and basketball official, and former teacher. He is well known in his community both as an educator and as an official. John often volunteered to train minor officials so that they can progress on their journey of supporting high school sport in Alberta.
For over 42 years, John took pride in creating a fair and safe environment for student athletes, coaches, and fellow officials, and for that, we are filled with gratitude.
We send our deepest condolences to John’s friends and family during this time.
