School sport may be on hold, but school spirit is not.

From October 13th to November 9th, 2020, high school students across Alberta were challenged by Alberta Milk to show off their school spirit in the #PassOffChallenge for a chance to win $5,000 for their school’s athletics program.

For this contest, students showcased their best sports skills in a short video clip, making use of fun transitions and music. Many student athletes showed off more than just their sports skills by coming up with creative ways to include their teammates in their entries in times when they couldn’t physically all be together. To see all of the contest entries, search #PassOffChallenge on Instagram and TikTok.

Over 80 challenge videos were submitted and Sage Watson, the contest judge (former ASAA Provincial Champion from Medicine Hat and current international track & field athlete) selected the winning videos. The entries were judged on creativity, uniqueness, and school spirit.

Congratulations to the following schools who will receive a $5,000 donation to their athletics program from Alberta Milk:

1A School: Glendon School
2A School: Kitscoty High School
3A School: Cochrane High School
4A School: Jasper Place High School (Edmonton)
