Opening Ceremonies - 4A High School Volleyball Provincials

8:15am - Teams arrive at Our Lady of the Rockies High School

• Park in the back-parking lot and meet down in the cafeteria area.
• Teams will be greeted by OLR student volunteers with signage.

9:00am - School Announcements
9:05am - Athletes march into gym as a team led by OLR volunteers. Marching band playing.
9:20am - Start of opening ceremonies. Konrad Plante to MC.

1. Land Acknowledgment (10 mins)

• Jingle Dancers/Drummers

2. Greetings

• OLR Principal Marilyn Nasse (2 minutes)
• CSHSAA - Helmut Keiser (2 minutes)
• ASAA - Jason Kozlow (2 minutes)

3. Introduction of Keynote speaker - Adrian Wouts & Jaimie Thibeault-Soonias (7 mins)
4. Keynote Speaker - TJ Sanders (15 mins)
5. Athletes Oath - Stuart McDermid (Western Canada) /Averi Penner (Bowness) (2 minutes)
6. Thank you! | OLR student volunteers to hand out swag bags/tags to each coach!

10:15am - Ceremonies End.
11:30am - First games begin.
