As a result, the Athletics Canada Foundation is pleased to announce funding for two scholarships for 2017 graduating high school student-athletes, as well as two other initiatives aimed at improving the state of high school track and field across Canada.

More than a thousand players from 104 teams will compete for 24 medals at 8 championships on 15 courts in nine cities and towns over three days.

Welcome to March Madness, Alberta style.

This weekend marks the culmination of months of hard work and dedication for high school student-athletes from across the province, who will look to achieve their ultimate goal of winning goal at the 2017 Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association championships.
