UPDATE 9:30am JUNE 1

We are currently monitoring the Air Quality Health Index and have shared the following statement with coaches involved in the tournament.

The tournament will continue as scheduled.

The AQHI will be monitored according to the following website:

http://airquality.alberta.ca/map/

According to the Alberta Government, the AQHI is currently a 6. If it rises to a 7 or higher, then an air horn will blow, signalling that games are to be considered final following the completion of the current half. The tournament will then be put on a one hour hold. If the AQHI falls back to a 6 or lower then the tournament will resume. If it does not then operations will be called off for the rest of the day.

In the event that games are called off, teams involved will have the opportunity to do one of the following:

1 - Work together to schedule their game at a different site and submit results to ASAA.

2 - If both teams are able to convene in Lethbridge next week during the 15s Provincials, we will schedule games there.

We will also be working on compressing the schedule, reducing gaps and utilizing field 4 where possible. Please be at the fields and ready to warm up at least 90 minutes before your scheduled start time in the event we are able to move games earlier. We apologize for the inconvenience of this but given the circumstances it is necessary. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Head to the yellow results tent if you need any more information.
