2022 ASAA Cross Country Provincial Championship Results

Congratulations to all competitors at the 2022 ASAA Cross Country Provincial Championships. The ASAA thanks Ever Active Schools, Kitaskinaw Education Authority and Enoch Cree Nation for their incredibly hard work in hosting this event and welcoming people from across the province to Enoch Cultural Pavillion.

October 2022 Deadlines! Don’t Forget:

  • October 05- Cross Country Team Registration Deadline

  • October 10- School Registration Deadline (Thanksgiving Monday)
  • October 10- Coaching School Sport: Redefining Winning Completion Deadline (Thanksgiving Monday)
  • October 15- Volleyball Deadline to add Students and Opting up Deadline
  • October 15- Football Deadline to add Students

ASAA Coaches' Information Course

Good morning, ASAA Athletic Directors.

Due to some technical issues with the program used to build the ASAA Coaches’ Information Course, the ASAA office has decided to rebuild the course using a different software program. This will delay the launch of the course significantly, and therefore the course will not be mandatory for 2022/23.

Unified Welcome Back Bingo

Unified is hosting its first Virtual Event of the 2022-2023 School Year!

Welcome Back Bingo!

Rules: 1) A school can submit more than one team 2) There are no max number of students on a team but there has to be at least one athlete and one partner per team 3) Students must be in grades 9-12 4) Teams may submit more than one photo or video per space to gain extra points 5) All videos/pictures submitted can be shared in ASAA and SOA publications. If you need an exemption to this please email emily@asaa.ca

National Concussion Awareness Week

September 26, 2022 marked the first day of National Concussion Awareness Week (NCAW).

As schools begin ‘setting’ up for another great season of ASAA Volleyball, we would like to give a few updates and reminders regarding side switching and warm up protocol. Please see memo below.

ASAA Para Athletics Town Hall

You are invited to an ASAA Para Cross Country Town Hall on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 3:30 p.m.

At the Town Hall we will provide a brief inservice on para categories in Cross-Country and how you can get students involved with Para. Expect to be on the call no longer than 30 minutes.
